                                                       What is condenser?

 

The condenser tube is a piece of laboratory equipment used to facilitate condensation, usually consisting of an inner and an
outer glass tube, where the smaller glass tube runs through the larger glass tube, it is a glass instrument that uses the principle
of heat exchange to cool and condense condensing gases into liquids, there are three types of straight, spherical and serpentine,
the specifications are indicated by the length (mm) of the condenser tube, the inner tube has a barge at both ends to connect
to other equipment in the experimental set-up, allowing the hotter gases or liquids to flow through the inner tube and condense
, the outer tube usually has an opening on both sides to connect to the plastic tube carrying the cooling substance (e.g. water).
The outer tube usually has a top and bottom opening on each side to connect the plastic tube carrying the cooling material
(e.g. water). The lower opening of the outer tube is usually connected to a water tap, as the water in the condensing tube will
automatically flow upwards in response to the heat, achieving a greater cooling effect.
